Sport and healthy eating play a key role in the Mannheim-based TSV SportKITA Purzelbaum GmbH, whose 100% shareholder is the sports club TSV Mannheim von 1846 e.V.
The facility offers the children countless opportunities to live out their need for exercise and provides them with freshly cooked, high-quality meals every day. These are prepared by head chef Ricarda Dombrowski and an employee.
Before an extensive extension to the daycare center was opened in autumn 2023, the perfectly coordinated team produced meals for up to 150 meal participants. The two now cook up to 400 meals a day.
To ensure that the high quality and freshness of the food is ensured even with a significantly higher number of hungry mouths, a professional kitchen designed for maximum efficiency was installed in the new premises for the duo, who are to become a trio. It was designed and set up by Electrolux Professional, together with Transgourmet, a leading food wholesaler for customers from the catering, hotel, company catering and social institutions sectors.
