Pizzas, paninis and even dessert were served up on SpeeDelight during the Top Management Meeting recently held at Electrolux headquarters.
Electrolux Professional’s first connected food service product was on show to demonstrate the theme of “accelerating digital transformation.”
Behind the scenes, a section of the office canteen was transformed into a quick-service restaurant before 200 leaders descended on Stockholm for the annual meet.
With the furnishings in place, two SpeeDelight machines were the finishing touches as Alberto Pezzutto, Head of High Speed Cooking Category, presented the product’s connected elements that benefit both customer and continued business.
According to Pezzutto, SpeeDelight attracted a sense of surprise among TMM participants.
“Seeing is believing when it comes to this product,” he said. “People were able to realize the benefits in terms of speed and quality of food that SpeeDelight is delivering.”
Leaders were also encouraged to participate in developing menu options.
“Imagine you are in a local bar or cafe near your home, what would you like as a snack around the clock? Participants helped to develop the menu by suggesting favorite foods and especially appreciated the healthy options that SpeeDelight makes available,” Ingrid Yllmark, VP Corporate Communications, said.
Questions centered around the formula for fast cooking and connectivity – how customers are reacting and how Customer Care can use it towards reaching profitable growth targets. The presentation to the TMM audience was a chance to enhance business opportunities.
“In such a global organization, the more we are able to share knowledge of our products across the Group, the more possibilities we have to grow the business,” Pezzutto said.
The pop-up also successfully showcased a range of beverage products from Grindmaster-Cecilware, the company acquired by Electrolux Professional earlier this year.
