Bart De Pooter leads the WY restaurant established in Brussel

WY restaurant is a small dining establishment, born from the idea and need to satisfy demanding customers during business luncheons.

This new restaurant, which serves high end food, has recently opened in Brussels. It is an exquisite meeting point and an ideal restaurant to have a lunch with very demanding business guests.

After his successful operation of the Cube by Electrolux, chef Bart De Pooter, owner of the Pastorale restaurant (2 Michelin Stars) was asked to open a restaurant inside the Mercedes House. The kitchen is powered by Electrolux Professional: thermaline premium cooking range, Touchline oven, modular static preparation, ecostore premium refrigeration, dishwashers with reverse Osmosis filter, wine refrigerators, as well as microwaves and combi-ovens from the Inspiration range.

The WY restaurant

WY restaurant boasts a cocktail bar, tables for about 40 guests, a quiet city terrace and a separate space for meetings, walking-dinners and private parties. It is upgraded with contemporary artworks from Robert Combas and Mimmo Rotella and the artworks change regularly. In the near future the walls will be decorated by graffiti artists.

Bart de Pooter,
Winner of the GaultMillau Chef of the Year award in 2012.
He is the founder, chef and executive director of the restaurant Pastorale in the small village of Reet (near Antwerp) in Belgium.

The Pastorale has been awarded two Michelin stars (the first star came in 2003, the second in 2006) and is ranked among the top 60 best restaurants worldwide on wbpstars.com. Guided by his passionate affiliation to regional and ecological products, his cuisine adapts seasonal ingredients to bring a taste of freshness, newness, frivolity and transparency to each dish. The restaurant is filled with pieces of artwork, from which the chef gathers his inspiration and which allow an evening at Pastorale to become a total experience.
